Location

Canyon Manor is located in Northern Marin County approximately 15 miles north of San Rafael and two miles west of Highway 101. The address is 655 Canyon Road. Take the DeLong Avenue exit and go left (west) over the highway. Continue down DeLong/Diablo until it ends at Hill Road and turn right onto Hill. Next left is Canyon Road. Canyon Manor is ½ block up on the right. Canyon Manor is within a few blocks of two of Novato’s shopping centers, the golden Gate Transit system, Library and Novato’s downtown district. Within convenient walking distance there are recreational facilities which include parks and community play fields.

The building itself is a one-story center built in 1964, and includes a dining room, seven multi-purpose rooms for therapy, activities, recreations, religious services, etc. There is also a courtyard area that contains a basketball and volleyball court. There are 35 two and three-bed resident rooms.
